Adeline passed away quietly and suddenly, early in the morning on Thursday, October 21, at her apartment at Grand Rapids, Michigan. Words can't express our grief and our loss of such a wonderful person, and inspiration to us all. In the coming weeks we will share information here to allow us all to celebrate her life. Family members, please email David Olson at davolson@speakeasy.net with your thoughts and we will post them here. We will be expanding our photos and stories about Adeline as well.
A family memorial service was held on Saturday, November 20th at David's house in Lake Forest. It was a chance to share memories and stories, and to celebrate the lives of Adeline, Elmer, and the others we have loved and lost.
Mom wrote her full autobiography back in 1993. If you haven't read it, you should... it documents her amazing life. And of course her more recently-written memoirs are also on the web site.
This will be a place for the family of Adeline and Elmer Olson to share news, stories, photos, gossip, vicious political vitriol, and most of all, our memories. Email David with any news or items you would like to post on our family website.
